LiftMaster, the #1 brand of residential garage door systems and related products, was a legacy brand in home center/hardware retailers. No one knew that LiftMaster was a technology leader. LiftMaster was seen as a legacy home center/hardware brand and their myQ app was unknown.

We launched a game-changing, groundbreaking awareness campaign that leveraged the equity of the most famous garage scene in movie history.

With a heavy digital/streaming/social strategy, national PR outreach and our licensing of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” we grabbed eyeballs and pulled off a PR coup delivering over 29 million impressions with more than 170 earned media placements with our hero video being played and celebrated on NBC’s Today Show.
